2013 starts off with a small cottage in the Chapman Lake Cottage Assoc. in ashes.
When firefighters arrived on scene this fast moving and very hot fire had engulfed most of the house.
But with the help of many companies it was contained to just one structure without any injuries.

Station 36 was very busy this week with a total of 6 brush fires, 1 fire alarm and multiple EMS calls. 2 of the brush fires were assists to station 28, and the other 4 were assists to stations 60 and 62....

At 20:00 hrs Station 36 got dispatched to a possible electrical fire on Chapman Lake road. Engine 36 arrived on scene and sent a crew inside to investigate. They came to find out that it was just wires sparking outside the house. Chief 36 notified PPL about the problem, and then all units were clear...
